Business digitalisation: EU state of play questionnaire

Introduction

As part of achieving the Digital Decade objectives, the European Commission is monitoring the state of play of business digitalisation in the EU. In this context, PPMI, on behalf of the Commission, is conducting a study titled the ‘Study Digitalisation of Business in the EU Member States: initiatives, impacts and contribution to the Digital Decade 2023-26’.  As part of this study, the European Commission will publish individual country reports shedding light on Member States' performance in reaching Digital Decade targets for business digitalisation, which include the following:
  • tech uptake: 75% of EU companies using Cloud, AI, or Big Data
  • innovators: grow scale-ups & finance to double EU Unicorns
  • late adopters: more than 90% of SMEs reach at least a basic level of digital intensity
In addition, the study will also cover the following categories:
  • green digitalisation: reflects the use of ICT for environmental sustainability, included to reflect the EU’s policy objectives related to the digital and green twin transition
  • cybersecurity: reflects initiatives aimed at strengthening companies' cybersecurity and resilience
Your input will contribute to shaping the individual country reports produced as part of this study.
